Welcome to Puptomisation! Our Story.

Hello everyone!

It's Carla here, the founder of Puptomisation, finally getting around to writing our first-ever blog post since we launched at the beginning of July!

We've been overwhelmed (in the best way possible!) by how many of you have joined our pack. Seeing your incredible pets transformed into paw-some works of art has been an absolute joy. So, before we get too far into our creative journey, I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce ourselves and tell you a little more about how Puptomisation began.

The Story Behind the Paw Prints

The idea for Puptomisation sparked when I captured what might be the most adorable picture in existance of our two pups, Dottie and Winnie. And like any beloved family member, I felt they deserve a place of honour on our living room wall.

I'll be honest, I'm one of those people who talks to their dogs like they're tiny humans, but as I proudly mounted their portrait, my fiancé suggested that it might just solidify our "crazy dog owners" status.​

​Then came the epiphany: if our furry family members were going to grace our walls, why not make their portraits something truly unique? Something funny, something that matched our home's aesthetic, and maybe, just maybe, something that would elicit a bewildered "WTF?" from our guests, followed by a slightly uncomfortable chuckle.

And so, the idea of Puptomisation was born! It's a blend of Pup and Customisation, because every piece is a unique, personalised tribute to your pet's one-of-a-kind personality.

What We Create

Puptomisation is dedicated to creating custom pet portraits in a unique, fine art style. This isn't just a filter on a photo – it's a hand-finished, digitally created illustration that transforms your pet's picture into a stunning work of art.

We have a range of themed collections, from the sophisticated 'It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere' to the all time favourite 'A Day In The Life'. Whatever your style, we have a way to capture your pet’s charm.

The process is simple: you upload a favourite photo, we create the art, you approve the digital proof, and we professionally print it on your chosen format.
